Pizzazzby ~Lady-Tigress

The person that commissioned this is a huge '80s cartoon fan and loved my Rainbow Brite costume. So she knew I was the right person to tackle Pizzazz, the foil for the series' lead character.

I used two different patterns for the dress, one with the "wraparound bodice" for the top and another with the A-line skirt for the bottom. All that I needed to change was shortening the skirt and making a diagonal cut.

The pink and zebra print fabric are both broadcloth. Halfway through working on it, I realized that they were a little thin, so I lined the dress with muslin for extra coverage. The belt is a long strip of stretchy radioactive green knit.

I don't know, kids. Is this eye-wateringly '80s enough?
